HR software for the Balkans: putni nalozi, local languages, local rules

Global HR tools tend to treat the region as an afterthought — no travel orders, no local languages, holidays that belong to some other country. BeeXpro HR was built with the Balkans in scope from the start: putni nalozi are a native feature, the interface speaks the region's languages, and leave is counted against local calendars.

Putni nalozi (travel orders), as a first-class feature

Travel orders are a daily reality for companies in Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and North Macedonia — and almost no international HR suite has them. In BeeXpro HR, travel orders are built in: employees raise them, cash advances are recorded against them, and they move through an approval flow rather than living in spreadsheets and email threads.

Approvals can even follow a matrix structure — dotted-line managers can hold travel approval rights specifically, separate from leave approvals.

An interface in your language

BeeXpro HR ships in Croatian, Serbian, Slovenian and Macedonian, with Bulgarian and Romanian covering the wider region — part of a 16-language platform that also includes English, German, Czech, Slovak, Polish, Ukrainian and more. Candidate-facing pages (applications, offer signing, surveys, career sites, interview booking) are localized as well, so applicants are not greeted in English by a "local" employer.

Leave that counts the way your country counts

Leave types are configurable and calculated in business days against each employee's country's public holidays, drawn from a 131-country catalog. Statutory context is encoded too: per-country labor-law minimums for annual leave, probation caps and notice periods act as a floor beneath your own policies, with guardrails preventing a policy from dropping below the local minimum.

From Zagreb to Skopje on one system

Regional groups rarely stop at one border. The geographic org tree lets you place Zagreb, Belgrade, Sarajevo and Skopje under one group, give each country its own legal entities, and scope roles precisely — an HR manager for Croatia only, or a managing director across the whole Balkans region.

And because the same platform includes a full ATS with AI voice interviews in the job's language, you can recruit in Croatian or Serbian and manage the resulting employees without switching tools — one step from hired candidate to employee record.

Frequently asked questions

Are putni nalozi really supported, or is this a generic expense feature?

They are supported as travel orders in their own right: raised per trip, with cash advances recorded and a proper approval flow — not repurposed expense claims.

Which regional languages does the interface support?

Croatian, Serbian, Slovenian and Macedonian directly, with Bulgarian and Romanian nearby — 16 languages overall, and candidates get localized pages too.

Will leave requests respect Croatian or Serbian public holidays?

Yes. Leave is counted in business days against the public holiday calendar of each employee's own country, so the same dates can cost different amounts of leave in different countries.

We operate in three Balkan countries — does that need three accounts?

No. One company can span multiple countries through the geographic org tree, with per-country legal entities, per-country rules and HR roles scoped to exactly the branch they should manage.
