How it works
- Connect: a company admin opens Contracts → Signing providers and clicks "Connect DocuSign". You sign in with your DocuSign credentials and approve access — that's the whole setup. No API keys to paste, no developer, no IT ticket.
- Generate: build the offer or employment contract from a merge-field template (company, candidate, role, terms) — BeeXpro HR produces the PDF.
- Send: one click creates a DocuSign envelope in your account and emails the candidate from DocuSign with your branding.
- Track & seal: the offer status updates through sent → viewed → signed inside your hiring pipeline, and when the candidate signs, the sealed signed PDF is retrieved automatically and attached to the offer — no downloading, no re-uploading.
When the candidate is hired, the signed contract follows them: their application becomes an employee record in one step, with the offer, documents and interview history attached.
Why per-company connection matters
E-signature is a legal act, and the sender of record matters. Because the envelope is created in your DocuSign account:
- The candidate's signing email comes from your organization, not from a software vendor they've never heard of — fewer confused candidates, fewer envelopes dying in spam.
- The envelope, its audit trail and its completion certificate live in your DocuSign history, alongside every other agreement your company signs.
- Disconnecting BeeXpro HR later never strands your agreements — they were always yours.
No DocuSign account? You still sign on day one
BeeXpro HR ships with built-in e-signature: a secure signing link, the candidate draws a signature, and it is sealed into the PDF with a full audit trail (name, email, IP, timestamp). DocuSign — like Adobe Acrobat Sign and Dropbox Sign — is an option for companies that already standardized on a provider, not a requirement.
| Connection model | Per-company OAuth sign-in — your company's own DocuSign account |
|---|---|
| Setup effort | Minutes, by a company admin; no developer required |
| Sender of record | Your organization (your DocuSign account and branding) |
| Signed document | Sealed PDF returned automatically and attached to the offer |
| Status tracking | Sent → viewed → signed, visible in the hiring pipeline |
| Fallback | Built-in e-signature works with zero setup |
Frequently asked questions
Do candidates need a DocuSign account to sign?
No. Candidates receive a standard DocuSign signing email and sign in the browser — no account or app required on their side.
Which DocuSign plan do we need?
Any DocuSign plan that allows sending envelopes via connected apps. You connect with a normal DocuSign sign-in from inside BeeXpro HR.
Where does the signed contract end up?
In both places that matter: the envelope with its certificate stays in your DocuSign account, and the sealed signed PDF is automatically attached to the offer in BeeXpro HR — and follows the candidate into their employee record when hired.
Can different companies on BeeXpro HR use different providers?
Yes. Connections are per company. One company can use DocuSign, another Adobe Acrobat Sign or Dropbox Sign, and others the built-in signing — each with their own account.
