The one-key connection
Each company on BeeXpro HR holds its own Dropbox Sign connection. A company admin pastes the API key from your account, and the integration is live:
- Offers and employment contracts — generated from merge-field templates inside the hiring pipeline — are sent for signature through your Dropbox Sign account.
- Signature events return to BeeXpro HR automatically, so the offer record updates the moment something happens on the candidate's side. Nobody forwards confirmation emails or re-checks a second inbox.
- Recruiters watch all of it from the pipeline they already work in — offer progress sits beside stages, interviews and status history rather than in a separate signing tool.
- After acceptance, turning the candidate into an employee is a single step, and the paperwork travels with them into the employee record.
Dropbox Sign is not the Dropbox storage integration
BeeXpro HR has two separate Dropbox-family integrations, and they solve different problems:
- Dropbox Sign (this page) is an e-signature provider. Your company's API key lets BeeXpro HR send signature requests for offers and contracts through your account.
- Dropbox, the storage integration, is a home for employee documents: your company connects its own Dropbox via OAuth, and files from the People document vault can live there instead of platform storage.
Connecting one does not connect the other. A company can use either, both, or neither.
You choose the provider; candidates just sign
No provider is required to get contracts signed. BeeXpro HR's built-in signer covers you from day one: the candidate opens a secure, tokenized link, signs in the browser, and the signature is sealed into the PDF together with a complete audit trail. Companies that have standardized on a provider connect their own — Dropbox Sign here via API key, DocuSign and Adobe Acrobat Sign via OAuth sign-in. Because every connection belongs to one company, neighbours on the platform never share signing accounts — see how e-signature works across BeeXpro HR.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the same as the Dropbox integration?
No. Dropbox Sign handles e-signatures on offers and contracts; the separate Dropbox integration stores employee documents in your company's own Dropbox. They are connected independently — using one does not require the other.
Where does the API key come from?
From your own Dropbox Sign account. A company admin pastes it into BeeXpro HR once; there is no developer work and no shared platform account involved.
What happens when a candidate signs?
The signature event reaches BeeXpro HR automatically and the offer status updates in the pipeline — no polling a separate dashboard and no manual reconciliation.
Do we have to pick one signing provider for good?
No. Signing connections are per company, the built-in signer always remains available, and other companies on the platform may be using DocuSign or Adobe Acrobat Sign at the same time.
