Own the storage, keep the workflow
A company admin connects your Dropbox with an OAuth sign-in — the same "your own account" rule that applies to every connection on the platform. After that, the document vault on the People side of BeeXpro HR gains a second home for files: for any document, you choose whether it lives in platform storage or in your company's Dropbox.
- Upload, browse, download and delete all happen transparently from inside BeeXpro HR. HR staff never leave the employee record and never learn a second tool.
- Documents stay attached where they belong — on the employee, in the same vault that holds contracts, permits, medical checks and licenses.
Per-document choice, not an all-or-nothing switch
The storage decision is made document by document, which makes adoption a policy question rather than a migration project:
- Keep routine paperwork in platform storage and direct specific categories to your Dropbox — or move everything, at your pace.
- Nothing forces a bulk cut-over on day one; connect the account and start choosing.
- Whatever mix you pick, the files routed to Dropbox sit in an account your company controls — not a vendor bucket.
The vault is part of the People (HRIS) half of the platform, where hired candidates become employees in one step with their offer and documents attached — the bigger picture is on ATS and HRIS in one.
Dropbox storage vs Dropbox Sign: two different integrations
Because the names are close, it is worth being precise:
- Dropbox (this page) answers "where are our employee documents stored?" — connected per company via OAuth, used through the document vault.
- Dropbox Sign answers "who processes our e-signatures?" — a signing provider connected separately, with an API key, for offers and contracts.
They are independent: connecting your Dropbox for storage does not set up e-signature, and vice versa. Signing itself needs no external provider at all — BeeXpro HR includes a built-in signer, with DocuSign and Adobe Acrobat Sign as further options.

| What it stores | Employee documents from the People document vault |

| Everyday use | Upload, browse, download and delete from inside BeeXpro HR |
| Setup effort | A company admin connects once; no developer |

Frequently asked questions
Do all our documents have to move to Dropbox?
No. The choice is per document. You can keep some files in platform storage and put others in your company's Dropbox, in whatever mix your policy requires.
Do HR staff work inside Dropbox after connecting?
No. Upload, browse, download and delete all happen from inside BeeXpro HR, on the employee record — the Dropbox connection works transparently underneath.
Whose Dropbox account is used?
Your company's own, connected by an admin via OAuth. Connections are per company, so every customer on the platform stores files in its own account, never a shared one.
Is this how e-signature works too?
No — that is Dropbox Sign, a separate integration. E-signature on offers and contracts uses the built-in signer by default, or your own DocuSign, Adobe Acrobat Sign or Dropbox Sign account if you connect one.
